STADEX® Dextrin

STADEX® Corn Dextrins are a group of dextrinized starch-based products used in a variety of industrial applications.

 

STADEX® Dextrin partially hydrolyzed starch dextrins are prepared by heating or dry-roasting starch in the presence of an acid catalyst. The dextrin exhibits a thinner-cooked paste viscosity, increased cold-water solubility, and color change from off-white to yellow.

 

STADEX® Corn Dextrins are useful in a variety of products that require a liquid or dry binder.

 

STADEX® Corn Dextrins range from lightly thinned to very highly hydrolyzed, offering a wide range of cold-water solubility and functionality. The highly hydrolyzed dextrins permit the make-up of quick drying, high solids formulas that are extremely tacky.
