We are an invested industry and community stakeholder and gladly take up the role of engaged partner in building a sustainable and vibrant future for all.nnIn 2018, as part of Tate & Lyle, we launched a first-of-its-kind sustainability pilot program with partner Truterra - the sustainable solutions business of Land O'Lakes, one of America's largest farmer-owned cooperatives.nnThat first year, the program enrolled an initial 310,000 acres across the Midwest. A year later, with encouraging pilot results in hand, the program was expanded to 1.5 million acres, representing the equivalent amount of corn the company purchases globally each year.

Our Senior Leadership team sits on our Sustainability Steering Committee and have oversight of our comprehensive program. The Sustainability Steering Committee meets quarterly providing review, advice, and alignment on current progress and future planning. We also engage with our Board of Directors regularly on relevant sustainability topics, progress, and to agree our annual strategy.
